CANADA: Canadian book buyers can save money by purchasing more then one book at a time from Cook and Bakers Books. Canada Post has introduced a 10 X 14 X 2" (35.5 X 26.3 X 5.3 cm) "Flat Rate" Carbon Neutral shipping box that holds a maximum weight of 5 Kg (11 lbs), and has a deliverary time of 1 - 7 days depending on destination. C$100.00 insurance is included along with a tracking number. It costs C$19.99 plus taxes (US$16.00) for all of Canada. This size box is large enough to hold one large book weighing over 1 Kg (for example), or two average sized 6 X 9" books, or a number of smaller books. Books that are over 2" (5.5cm) thick may require a larger box.
UNITED STATES: Postage rates are based on speed of delivery, size, weight , and destination. Our rates are based on books weighing 1 Kg (2.2 lbs) or less. You may be asked for additional funds if the book weighs over this amount. Tracking and insurance are included for most US destinations. Speedy delivery-times are available at an additional cost.
OVERSEAS : The posted rates and approximate delivery times are for books weighing 1 Kg (2.2 lbs) or less, books weighing more than 1 Kg. may require additional funds. Packages are sent by a combination of land and sea. Air-mail is avaialble, but at an additional charge. Tracking and insurance are available for only some countries, upon request and for additional funds.
