2,000 Years of Christ's Power Vol. 3: Renaissance and Reformation (Grace Publications)

Colourful, divisive, and radical

Focussing in on the 16th Century, Needham shows us the progression of the Reformation era and the daring bravery of its figures. It’s a period of history from which there are many lessons to be learnt―not least of all, the vibrancy of people’s lives and the courage with which they faced death.

As the series continues, Neeham uncovers how attitudes of the Middle Ages provoked the Renaissance from which the passionate Reformation debates emerged. Follow the convictions and debates of key voices such as John Calvin, John Knox, Ulrich Zwingli, Martin Luther, William Tyndale and Ignatius of Loyola. Catholics, Calvinists, Lutherans, Anabaptists – our present–day divisions are rooted in the front–page headlines of the Reformation.
