1 and 2 Samuel and The Book of Ruth (Paperback)

Paperback. The books of Samuel tell the story of David -- his rise to kingship as the true God's anointed and chosen king over God's chosen people Israel. David not only was a great king but also a great prophet who spoke the revelation of God of a coming king who not only would rule the world but be high priest in the heavenly order of Melchizedek. But Samuel also paints a vivid picture of David who sinned greatly and who threw himself on the mercy of God for forgiveness. David knew He needed the redemption that could come from his progeny, Jesus, Son of David, Son of Abraham, Son of God. This is a fresh translation from the Hebrew Scriptures.
