Synopsis:

In this "approachable series" (Booklist), one small action a day can make a difference . . . in a big way! In 10 Ideas to Overcome Racism, we explore how to counteract racism and prejudice in our everyday lives.

Are you ready to overcome racism in the world today? Each one of us plays a part in perpetuating racism, and we must unite to stop it from spreading. So let’s get started with 10 easy antiracist ideas!

In this book, learn how to challenge racist ideas with little (but powerful!) actions, including:

  • Learning a friend’s language—and helping them learn yours!
  • Discovering the past to understand the present!
  • Trying new foods, playing new games, and listening to new music . . . and more!

With tips and everyday activities, this book brings discussions of race and diversity into your home, your classroom, and the real world. Put these 10 ideas into practice at home or at school, and share them  with friends and family!

Today Eleonora is an accomplished TV writer and author. She teaches at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy.
