About the Author

Cathleen Beachboard (@cathleenbeachbd) has served for over the past decade as an instructional coach, professional developer, and teacher.  She currently serves as an 8th grade English teacher and department chair for her school in Fauquier County, Va. Her students have been featured in local and national news for their acts of service to their community. 


Marynn Dause (@DauseClause) is a National Board Certified Teacher with seven years' experience teaching English Language Arts and related topics. She serves as President Elect of the Virginia Association of Teachers of English; prior to that she served five years on the advisory board for the Virginia Student Councils' Association.
