10 Little Rules for Mermaids

It's not about mermaids, or about "being a mermaid," or anything specifically to do with the ocean. It's about freedom.

And it's not about freedom from any one person, commitment or any actual PHYSICAL thing.

It's about exploring old trains of thought, escaping the need to follow the same old path. It's about personal evolution, discovering you, in your own way and in your own time. It's about trusting the process and enjoying the journey. And most of all, it's about being okay with what may be revealed along the way.

This guided journaling experience will unleash a new vision for the way you live your life.

Although quite overwhelming at times, I now know that I will do everything in my power to never sacrifice that freedom again. And the chances of that actually happening have increased a thousand times over since I now realize no one ever ASKED me to give up my freedom in the first place - I just did that on my own. I did it for jobs, I did it for my marriage, and I did it to myself. I did that very wrong thing for all the right reasons ... and now I find myself wondering ... how do you STAY free? How does one regain said freedom if it's been lost in a relationship? How do you rediscover it after you've left a relationship? And how in the world do you retain it if you're entering a new one?

Questions turn into answers in their own sweet time, and I woke up completely refreshed at 2 a.m. this morning, feeling like today is the day to start pulling it all together - the book that is; I've been working on the life part MUCH longer than that! It has been unbelievably cleansing to put my thoughts into writing, to get them out of my head and to share them with the universe, both publicly and privately.

As you read my words, my 10 Little Rules for Mermaids if you will, I hope they will help you do the same for yourself. Write your thoughts down, use the journal pages, in single words or broken sentences even. Dog ear this book; write in this book; highlight, color, circle and draw in this book, absolutely all over, under and through this book. Do what works for you. Make this book YOURS. After all, that is EXACTLY what freedom is all about.

Nice to meet you Mermaid, and thank you for being here.
