10 Secrets to Raising Innovative Children

Raising innovative children is the greatest gift a parent can give their children because innovators know how to solve problems, leading to a better life. As a parent, I find it exhilarating when our children deal with life's problems on their own, and better than I would have done. The reason I wrote "10 Secrets to Raising Innovative Children" is to help parents, especially moms, be more effective in teaching their children to become problem-solvers. This is an easy, fun-to-read, useful treatment on the topic. It contains insights, web links, and most of all good common-sense advice, which is often not so common.

Steve Di Biase is a retired executive living in Chicago, Illinois, who has built his career on innovation in the chemical industry. His greatest achievement and passion, however, has been mentoring people just starting out, raising his children, and being a loving husband and grandfather. Dee Benson has worked as a creative professional much of her life while volunteering time and resources to various non-profits. She has tutored children, mentored teens, and served as a hospice volunteer. For over 35 years she has been active in child sponsorship programs and has supported humanitarian relief projects focusing on education, nutrition, healthcare, and housing. She supports NGOs that build homes in Haiti, Guatemala, and Honduras. Dee is the stepmother of four.
