Synopsis
This is a book of blank verse poetry written between July 2012 and July 2014 on a daily basis. Actually I lied. There is one poem written in verse. There are also poems the author has written in Italian, French and Persian in addition to English. The sentence lengths vary to create silhouettes.
About the Author
Brian H Appleton is a polyglot, citizen of the world, born in Tokyo, grew up in Greece, Italy and France, lived in Iran 5 years and in NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Washington DC and San Jose, Ca as of late. He has authored two nonfiction books about Iran; Tales From The Zirzameen and Shamshone; Sun of Assyria both available on Amazon. His interviews, articles and poetry have appeared in various magazines and anthologies such as Love and Pomegranates, Borderlines Vol 2, Zan Magazine, Al Jazeera, Persian Heritage Magazine, Iranian Times, Payvand News, Hack Writers, My Life in Italy, CASMII, Payyam Javan, Pejzhvak of Persia, The Persian Mirror, Irandokht, Bitch Magazine and others as well as appearances on Apadana TV, Markazi TV and CreateTV. His writing often celebrates Persian culture, existentialism and Gnosticism.
