Most of us pay attention when a promise is spoken, especially if the Lord himself is speaking. He makes no small promises. He is known for doing just what he says he will. Like all scripture, the Book of Mormon is full of promises--hundreds of them, in fact. Author Wayne Brickey has distilled into this volume some that speak powerfully to our modern-day times and specific needs. Exploring such topics as "The Wisdom of Angels," "Soaring Amid Dark Clouds," "Being Led Away from Temptation," "The Big Secret about Love," "High Interest Investment," and "The Power to Change," this book shares the meaning and opportunities that each divine promise from the Book of Mormon might present to readers young and old.
