Manila envelope offset printed black containing a octagonal cut out paper shape with two pieces of tape attached to verso (Tuttle s Paper Octagonals are paper shapes that he cut from a template and glued to the wall). Undated. No edition size given. The printed text on the envelope reads: 'In this envelope is the 11th paper octagonal. It is unusual among the other octagonals in that it alone has straight sides, is based on a geometric 'maneuver' and because it can be any size.The only condition I am placing on this work is the same as the work's nature: that it, an octagonal piece of white paper, be pasted to a white wall'. This octagonal paper no. 11 in a series of 12. Condition: fine.
