13 Letters: From a Cell to the City

By John D Lent

What if the Apostle Paul’s letters were written today—from inside Guantánamo Bay, to the streets of modern-day America?

13 Letters is a bold, poetic, and prophetic remix of the New Testament epistles. Rewritten in a raw, urban voice, each letter is delivered from the confines of a prison cell to the heart of 13 modern cities—from Chi-Town to Sin City, ATL to the 305. These aren’t dusty scrolls… they’re survival notes, spoken-word scriptures for the misunderstood, the overlooked, and the called.

Rooted in Scripture. Reimagined through culture.
Every line burns with truth, correction, and grace.

This isn’t a commentary.
It’s a spiritual mixtape.
A gospel for the unchurched and the faithful alike.
A reminder that “the Word of God is not in chains.”
