1742. Highways Act 1742 c. 2. An act to repeal so much when act passed in the last session of Parliament, entitled an act for the preservation of the public roads that part Great Britain called England, as obliges persons not travelling for hire to make use of wagons with wheels bound with streaks or tyre of a certain breadth, or the said streaks to be fastened with nails of a certain size.
