As well as this publication, he also write a book on Horatio Nelson an Biographia Navailis about the leading figures in Britain's Royal Navy. He studied at Winchester College and at Trinity College, Oxford. He then joined the Royal Navy as a volunteer and became friends with Captain Locker (Nelson's correspondent) After inheriting a fortune, Charnock left the Navy but had soon spent all his inheritance and turned to writing to make a living.Charnock fell into poverty and unable to pay his debts, he died on 16th May 1807, at the King's Bench Prison in Bermondsey, London.CONDITIONOriginal antique print in excellent condition with goodmargins, perfect and ready for mounting and framing.SIZEOverall size including margins approx 295mm x 230mm (11.7x 9inches)All our prints and maps are 100% guaranteed original antiques as dated.We do not sellreproductions.PaymentWe prefer payment via PAYPAL.
