This was a select commiuttee appointed to enquire into the Allegations contained in the Petition of certain Electors and Inhabitants of the Borough of Stamford.complaining of the Interference of the Marquis of Exeter.at the late and former Elections of members to serve the said Borough.Pages XII - 270 and Index of 33 Pages - Size 33 x 21 cms Bound in a soft blue card cover. The first 12 pages is the actual conclusion of the committee together with a list of the witnesses (and their expenses). The bulk of the report is the minutes of evidence with the appendices giving info. like list of Temnants under Notice to Quit.some voting lists etc followed by a very detailed index.
