The Great Savannah Races 1908, 1910, 1911 by Julian K. Quattlebaum, M.D. Savannah, Georgia: 1957. 132 pages. Book measures 11.75 x 9.00". 8vo. In good condition. Dust-jacket: Scuffed and torn edges, tanned spine, age-staining. Cloth covered boards. Gilt lettering and deco on front board and spine, slightly rubbed but still legible and in good condition. Head and tail of spine bumped. Age-staining on outer edge of text block. Previous ownership embossed stamp on presentation page. Age-staining throughout text block. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. As a result of the efforts of the Savannah Automobile Club, the International Grand Prize Race of the Automobile Club of America was held in Savannah, Georgia, for the first time in November of 1908 and was enormously successful.
