1998 Rocket*s Family Fun Activity Guide and Directory

If you have kids around and you're living in or visiting New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Eastern Pennsylvania, you'll want this book. The 1998 Rocket's Family Fun Activity Guide is a collection of day trips to amusement parks, water theme parks, science centers, indoor playgrounds, activity centers, aquariums, zoos, petting farms, children's museums, fun museums, planetariums, and--if that isn't enough---a miscellaneous section covers even more! Accompanied by $600 worth of discount coupons (found in the back of the book), this guide is for children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, baby-sitters, and friends. "The primary goal of this project was to give you all the possible options on places to go and things to do with a concentration on fun, exercise, and education," writes author Steven Finkelstein, who has personally tested these places and activities with his son.

Each listing includes contact information, fees, hours, directions, and a special features write-up. Whether you're looking for mini golf, batting cages, water thrills, eight-story high movie screens, Big Bird, science adventures, basketball, Ferris wheels, mazes, music, trampolines, tunnels, laser tag, or elephants, you're sure to find it. Nine icons make it easy for you to find an activity that fits your category of interest; just match the icon you choose to one of the entries.
