The author is a licensed aircraft pilot, boat captain, and scuba diver. He has traveled the world in search of adventures large and small. His writing career began while still a teenager, but was interrupted many times by the lure of adventure. One adventure took the lives of many friends and imprisoned many others, a few of which are still serving time in prisons in the USA and elsewhere. In his best selling book, Dark Caribbean, that adventure comes to life and puts the reader right there beside him in the cockpit of his plane as he skims along barely above the waves in order to stay below the radar sweep. At other times the reader will feel as though they are part of the crew aboard his offshore lobster vessel, as they wage a shooting war with armed pirates in the Caribbean.
