237 Ideas For Stuff To Do And Places To Go In Kent With Kids

We’ve all been there: Stuck at home with the kids as they shuffle around the house, not afraid to moan about just how bored they are. Well, this book is the answer. Here are 237 ideas to keep them (and you) utterly entertained. They include things to do, places to visit, events to attend, activities to try, adventures to have, landscapes to explore – all in Kent (which is perfect if you’re visiting, even better if you live here). Yes, there’s some obvious entries (Dover Castle is one of the South East’s tourist hotspots for good reason). But the majority of this book is dedicated to things you might not have thought about. (Did you know that Kent has it’s very own Stonehenge? No, didn’t think so.) And the majority of the ideas cost nothing at all. So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and spend better time with the kids. About the author, Tom Idle: Tom Idle is a writer, journalist and editor. More importantly, he’s a Dad, Step Dad, Husband and Dog Dad (to Dudley, and Phoebe and Tilly, Emma, and Lottie, respectively). Having lived in Kent all his life (as a Kentish Man, not a Man of Kent – look it up), he loves nothing more than exploring in his own backyard. It’s something he’s been doing with his little partner in crime, Dudley for the last 12 years. In fact, finding new and fun ways to spend time with Duds during his time as a single Dad gave Tom the idea, inspiration and energy to finally get this book – Tom’s first – published.
