25 Melodic and Progressive Studies, Op. 60

25 Etudes, op. 60 AB Title: The first and foremost edition of these ever popular studies, which are to be found in almost every syllabus where the guitar is taught. Selected by the Examination Board of the Royal Schools of Music 2009. This new expanded and revised edition is the only publicationto reconcile the early sources of these Etudes with present day playing techniques. Several earliereditions from the 19th and 20th centuries have been carefully consulted for its preparation. The main music text is beautifully engraved with a clear and uncluttered presentation of the Etudes. This edition contains a useful section on playing the Etudes with over 50 music examples, showing alternative fingerings etc. A detailed Critical Commentary as well as historical archive material completesthis important vastly improved version of our highly popular 1985 edition. Highly recommended as itwill meet the needs of all at whatever level.
