Jenna Elliot stops her truck on a dark country road to help a frightened stranger. Her mundane life as a school teacher takes a sudden turn into the world of politics and intrigue as she guides Ken Marsden to safety across the daunting Wyoming Mountains. He returns to his job in Washington and she is summoned to testify before a congressional committee. Jenna feels uneasy about traveling to the nation's capitol. She knows how to avoid dangerous animals when riding a horse on a forest trail. But can she survive the predators that roam the corridors of the White House?

Norma Pyper Mitchell grew up in the Rocky Mountains with a desire to ride horses, become a concert pianist, and write books. After several years of serious piano study, she married a cowboy, followed him horseback over numerous mountain trails, gave up a concert career to raise seven children, and finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a writer. Although she has written three non-fiction books, "25 AM" is her first novel.
