When we look up at the vast night sky and immerse ourselves in the recollection of history, the emperors, generals, poets, capable officials, and heroes of all dynasties are like lonely stars that gradually move away and disappear in the distant river of history. Different from many works that narrate historical events and figures, the Historical Past Series summarizes the different characteristics of many emperors, literati, politicians, and generals in Chinese history according to their personalities, behaviors, experiences, and evaluations by later generations, and classifies them into chapters according to the characteristics. The emperors' great talents, debauchery, cruelty, and stupidity that led to the country's downfall, the literati's talents, elegance, humor, and alcoholism, the politicians' intrigues, foresight, and painstaking efforts, and the generals' fierceness, bravery, success, and failure, and ancient martial arts have become the themes of each volume in this series. The author uses refined text and storytelling to present the true face of different historical groups from a new perspective and many vivid historical fragments that readers are not familiar with.
