4-Volume complete set. Maroon boards, halfleather binding (spines and corners), all-red deckled edges. 9 inches ((23cm), thicknesses from 1.6 to 2.2 inches (4.2-5.8 cm). A handsome set, in very good condition, with slight rubbing and occasional split in the spine covering fold. (In particular, Vol3 has 1.5inch split and Vol1 has inch split at top of spine fold). Internally no ownership marks, occasional spot. Decorative floral endpapers. Illustrated with drawings, diagrams and engravings. Fold-out plans at back, with their tissue guards, soiled edge to some of the tissue. Text in French. Dated 1882/1878/1881/1883, respectively. Combined weight 5.6kg. Shipping would require addition for any destination. (Physics, Science, French, Antiquarian) Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
