I had a plan. Naturally, God laughed at it and said, "Not so fast."

I'm 43 years old, settled in my ways, and prefer the life I had before my husband of thirteen years suddenly died. With his passing, my once perfect, manicured life no longer exists, and now a mountain of problems rests at my feet.

The list of challenges grows with every passing minute, but life doesn't stop-not even when it feels like the world has. So when a man shows up to my house to offer his condolences attached with a proposition, his brown eyes stir emotions in me I haven't felt for some time.

As he flirts with me, I'm aroused by the opportunity to experience a first kiss again. That electric moment when sparks fly wild that lead to desire. A chance to correct my wrongs as I close the door on my old life, and live out my wildest fantasies in the new one.

How will life differ for me this time around? Will I be okay on my own? Or will I open myself up to love again? There's only one way to find out.
