Volume one contains three hundred and fifty-two plates and volume two contains three hundred and forty-eight plates. Collated complete. Collected by Loys Deteil, a French engraver, illustrator, and art historian. In the original half cloth binding with patterned boards. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and minor rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Tide marks to the spine of volume one. Internally, firmly bound.
