There are 90 devotionals in this book. Each takes a verse and expands on how it applies today, right now, to you as you sit in prison. There is a topical index at the end of the book you can use to search for verses to bring you comfort direct from His word! Each daily devotional has the text on one side of the page with some blank lines on the facing page. These are for you to use. Write prayer requests or jot down any specific thoughts that came to you as you read the scripture for the day. You can review these later in the year to see how He has been faithful to keep His promises to you!

Erin Roys has three daughters from ages one month up to eight years. She manages a skin care retail store and just got her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master's and doctoral degrees and is very interested in personality assessment testing and using that to help employers maximize employee productivity. Over her lifetime, she has met several a number of former inmates who have been through some significant events in their lives. During their incarceration, some found God, others recognize that they had strayed from Him and as prodigals, returned to the cross. After listening to their stories, she felt led to write some materials to encourage them and to help them grow stronger in His word.
