Synopsis
Who comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve to bring presents to good little bunnies? Santa Claus, that's who! And Max wants to stay up and see him. Max's bossy, older sister Ruby doesn't want him to stay awake, but, as always, irrepressible Max has other ideas. He sneaks downstairs to wait for Santa...with unexpected results!

About the Author
Rosemary Wells is the author of many popular books for children, including the Max and Ruby books, which feature the beloved bunny siblings who star in their own show on Nick Jr. While her two daughters inspired the Max and Ruby books, Ms. Wells currently draws her inspiration from her five granddaughters, who provide an endless trove of material.

Glad tidings for Max fansthe bunny of board-book fame now stars in his first picture book. Sister Ruby has to drag Max up the steps, scrub his face with a washcloth and remind him to "Spit, Max," as he brushes his teeth.
