These memoirs are of Ian Botham - cricket all-rounder and match-winner, charity fund-raiser, pantomime star and television celebrity. Ian Botham's autobiography charts the rise of cricket's most charismatic player - from his early years at Somerset, his Test debut and overseas tours to captaining England, and finally to Worcestershire and Durham via Queensland. The book relives all the magic moments on the field, as well as recounting the notorious incidents off the field, such as the New Year's Eve drugs' arrest, his disenchantment with the press, alleged marital infidelities, his often contentious views on cricket's establishment, and much else besides.

From the Back Cover:

Ian Botham's bestselling autobiography is an explosive blend of sex and drug allegations, personal upheavals, confrontations with peers and remarkable record-breaking feats. Voted favourite cricketer of the 20th century in a recent survey, Botham's outstanding contribution to the game, both as a player and an outspoken commentator for Sky television, makes for compelling reading.

In this fully revised and updated edition, Botham laments the continued decline of English cricket while putting forward his argument for a change in the selectorial process. Away from the game, he writes about his most recent charity walk for Leukaemia Research and where he sees his long-term future.

About the Author:
Ian Botham is one of cricket's greatest players, and England's highest Test wicket taker. In statistics, he is one of the greatest all-rounders to have played the game, and is an icon of the sport, both in the UK, and wherever cricket is played. He is currently working for SKY Sports, and writes a column for The Sun newspaper. Sir Mick Jagger is a life-long cricket fanatic, as well as a personal friend of Ian Botham. He provides the unique insight of someone who loves the game, the way Ian plays, plus knows the many charitable causes they both support.
