Mark McCormack was educated at William and Mary and Yale Law School. He was an associate at a Cleveland law firm when he began representing a young unknown named Arnold Palmer. A host of sports celebrities followed and today his company, IMG, represents a wide array of events and players. Since the publication of his classic book What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School, IMG has continued to grow and now employs 2000 people.
