Synopsis
Six-year-old Anna was found wandering in London's docklands one grey day in the 1930s and was taken home to Fynn's mum to be cared for. She lived there until her premature death, filling their lives with light and her amazing talks with "Mister God". Her life was vividly presented in "Mister God", "This is Anna" and "Anna's Book", and although the events portrayed there took place a generation ago, they are as immediate as if they had happened only yesterday. In this book, Anna is back with the same friends - Funn, mum, Millie, and of course, Mister God. And there are new friends: we meet the Black Knight for the first time, and Anna's astonishing capacity for looking at things from Mister God's point of view stands her in good stead as always.
