Synopsis
Since Jacquie Durrell abandoned a promising career as an opera singer to share her life with Gerry and a host of assorted animals, she has found herself in many curious places, in pursuit of still stranger beasts. Some were exotic, some loveable, some comical and in Intimate Relations Jacquie brings them irresistibly to life.
There is Eggbert, the crested screamer, whose feet had an unfortunate habit of walking in different directions, Foxy the pampas fox with an addiction to cigarette ends, Timothy, the vulgar squirrel, Whiskers the emperor tamarin with a startling resemblance to Kaiser Bill, and above all, there are Jacquie's beloved squirrels.
