From School Library Journal:
Grade 5-7-- A sequel to My Babysitter Is a Vampire (Pocket Bks., 1991), and a vampire story with more bite than most. Meg's summer seems to be cursed after she finds an old ring in the family beach house. Not only does she experience bad luck, but also Kelly, a snobbish new girl, is showing interest in Meg's good friend Jack. As Kelly begins to develop alarming symptoms, Meg recognizes that the ring belongs to the vampire she and Jack battled the summer before; he has returned for revenge, and is using Kelly to force a showdown. There is plenty of suspense and a truly chilling climactic confrontation, all leavened with just the right amount of humor. A good choice for monster fans. --Elaine E.
