Oscar is a dreamer. His head is always in the clouds. And sometimes he forgets where he is... That’s just what happens when he goes on vacation—and loses his parents. Alone in the big, empty desert, he is afraid. The desert is too big and too lonely for a little boy like Oscar. All seems hopeless—until the most mysterious and extraordinary friend appears, as if from nowhere. Theo has worked in children’s television in Europe for more than ten years; Michael Dudok de Wit is the creator of the Oscar–winning animated film, Father and Daughter.
About the Author
THEO was born in France in 1963. As a child he collected stamps, stones, and -- like Oscar -- dreams. Theo has worked in children's television in the UK, France, Germany and Spain for more than ten years. MICHAEL DUDOK DE WIT was born in Holland in 1953. He has directed and animated many award-winning commercials for television and cinema, and teaches animation, as well as illustrating books. Michael's short animated film, 'Father and Daughter' won both an Oscar and a BAFTA award.
