This guide discusses that revolution, presenting a large amount of scientifically sound information in a clear and easy-to-read text. While it does not offer a "Pollyanna" view of dental care and disease, it takes a reassuring but factual tone in describing what diseases affect the mouth, how to care for the teeth and gums, and what to expect in the dentist's office.
