About the Author

Dr. Helene Knoerr is a professor specializing in French as a second language at the University of Ottawa. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Aix-e-Provence and has authored two textbooks.

Alysse Weinberg has been teaching French for 25 years. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Lille and currently heads the French Language Sector wit the Second Language Institute at the University of Ottawa. She has contributed to many books and articles on the French language.
