Kindergarten-Grade 3-- Nip and Tuck, two troll brothers, do everything together, but never in a normal way. They build a house without a roof, end up at home when searching for their favorite picnic spot, share a traveling itch and the last "Nothing cookie," and make a new sweater as ratty as the old one they have just replaced. The episodes are silly enough to appeal to beginning readers. Thiesing's large, colorful, pencil-and-watercolor illustrations dominate every page, adding humor and providing picture clues to the text.
