Jay Mulvaney is an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer whose books include Diana & Jackie: Maidens, Mothers, Myths; Jackie: the Clothes of Camelot; and Kennedy Weddings: A Family Album. He visits Palm Beach often, but lives in New York City.

Queen of preppiness Lilly Pulitzer doesn't need an excuse to throw a party—heaven knows, her life in Palm Beach is, essentially, one continuous fete. Keeping the same format as that previous book, this holiday-themed guide pairs old photos of a spry young Lilly whooping it up with friends in days past, with newer shots of children searching for Easter eggs and opening presents under the tree, and cute sketches of partyers (everyone's "madly attractive" and decked in Lillyesque outfits). The text is chipper, as Lilly fondly remembers New Year's Eve bashes, suggests making a homemade gift for mom on Mother's Day, gives tips on how to celebrate the Fourth of July and lists her favorite Thanksgiving-themed movies. The recipes are simple, with a tropical flair, and many can be made ahead. They range from impressive Roast Pork Leg with Citrus Marinade for Christmas to mindless Grilled Hot Dogs for a child's birthday party.
