From Library Journal:
Complete with beautiful color photo graphs, this book provides instructions for dozens of home decorating projects, including curtains, bed coverings, pil lows, and tablecloths. Although not de signed for the novice, the directions are clear and illustrated with distinct dia grams so that only basic sewing skills are required for most of the projects. The window projects alone are worth the price; the book covers a wide as sortment of curtains including sash, balloon, tab-top, ruffled, and rod-pock et, as well as shades, swags, and va lances. In addition to specific projects, there is information on fabric and thread selection, casings, and bias tape bindings. Particularly useful are the precise directions for measuring to de termine amount of fabric needed for each project. Recommended for public libraries. Ruth H. Dukelow, Library of Michigan, Lansing
