About the Author

Brian Lowry is the Los Angeles television editor for Daily Variety, the show-business trade newspaper, where he has worked since 1987 reporting on the TV industry in addition to writing reviews and the weekly column "Changing Channels."

A native of Los Angeles, he is a graduate of UCLA, who, during and after college, freelanced for various publications, among them Starlog magazine.
