Synopsis
An Introduction to Computer Science Using C 1e is intended to provide students who are completely new to computer science with an introduction to the C programming language and techniques for problem-solving using a computer. Although a great deal of the book is devoted to features of C, the book does not cover the language completely. Instead, it focuses on those aspects of the C language that are needed to introduce ideas about problem solving with a computer. C is a means to this end rather than the end in itself.
