About the Author

Raghav S Nandyal has many years of consulting, software engineering and management experience. He is a Certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser, by the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, and has the rare distinction of being authorized to lead SCAMPI appraisals for both the CMMI and the People CMM.  He has been a practitioner, prime consultant, coach and an assessor on process improvement initiatives involving the CMMI, the Software and People CMM in leading multinationals, worldwide such as Motorola, NYNEX Science & Technology, LG Group and Intelligroup, Inc. since 1992. He is a respected authority in areas of software engineering and management and is on the international review panel for IEEE Software. He has authored two books on People CMM and CMMI and is a regular speaker at international conferences. He has trained and mentored a number of people across the globe in the areas of strategic management of software initiatives.
