We eat proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, all supplied by the chemical factories in crops and livestock. We clothe ourselves in synthetic fibers or chemically treated natural ones. We live in houses built of chemically processed bricks, cement, glass and metal, chemically treated wood products, and synthetic plastics-the whole structures decorated with chemical paints and chemically coated wallpaper. And when ill, we are treated with chemical pharmaceuticals.
