Synopsis

Digital Principles and Applications is appropriate for an introductory course in digital logic for both computer and electronics programs. It also can be used for self-study and as a reference text for those working in the field. Comprehension of the material does not require a background in electronics. A familiarity with Ohm’s Law and voltage and current in simple DC-resistive circuits is helpful, but not required. In addition, standard logic symbols are used along with the new IEEE standard logic.
