This is an anthology of substantive selections from key texts in the history of moral philosophy or ethical theory. It may be used in an ethics course or in the ethics segment of an introduction to philosophy course. Editorial apparatus includes a concise introductory chapter surveying major concepts, a glossary of terms (new), and introduction to each philosopher, a running commentary within selections, and discussion questions. The revision features new translations for Plato and Kant and new selections for Aristotle, Augustine, and Nietzsche.
