This is one of my favorite history books - it really DOES tell "The Reason Why" the Charge of the Light Brigade took place. The personal snubs, vaguely worded orders, and military strategies (or lack thereof) that led to these events are examined in depth and detail. A fascinating book and an all-around great read.
