About the Author

James Reichard James Reichard is an Associate Professorin the Department of Geology and Geography at Georgia SouthernUniversity. He obtained his Ph.D. in Geology (1995) from PurdueUniversity, specializing in hydrogeology, and his M.S. (1984) andB.S. (1981) degrees from the University of Toledo, where he focusedon structural and petroleum geology. Prior to his Ph.D., he workedas an environmental consultant in Cleveland, Ohio, and as a photogeologistin Denver, Colorado.
