About the Author

Clint Smith, P.E., is Vice President of Network Engineering for ASI, and is currently designing 3G migration solutions for some of the world's largest telecom companies. Previously Director of Engineering for Verizon Mobile, he is the author or co-author of six successful books on wireless communications, all published by McGraw-Hill: the classic Cellular System Design and Optimization, Wireless Telecom FAQs, LMDS, Practical Cellular and PCS Design, and 3G Wireless Networks..
