Frederick Bloetscher, Ph.D., is President of Public Utility Management and Planning Services, Inc. (PUMPS), and Applied Science and Research, Inc. PUMPS is a consulting firm dedicated to evaluation of utility systems, needs assessments, condition assessments, strategic planning, capital improvement planning, grant and loan acquisition, interlocal agreement recommendations, bond document preparation, consultant coordination, and permitting and implementation of capital improvement construction. Applied Science and Research, Inc., is dedicated to research issues associated with groundwater injection, risk, and water quality. Dr. Bloetscher is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering in Coral Gables, Florida. He is the past Chair for the American Water Works Association Groundwater Committee, and its Aquifer Storage and Recovery subcommittee, and is a current Water Resource Division Trustee. He lives in Dania Beach, Florida.
Albert Muniz is a Vice President with Hazen and Sawyer, P.C., and manager of their Boca Raton office. Hazen and Sawyer is one of the top environmental engineering firms in the Western Hemisphere, working in water resources, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and injection programs. Mr. Muniz has over 24 years' experience with injection well programs, including water supply and disposal injection programs. He is Vice Chair of the AWWA Groundwater Committee, and serves on its Aquifer Storage and Recovery Subcommittee. He lives in Coconut Creek, Florida.
Gerhardt M. Witt is President and Principal Hydrogeologist for Gerhardt M. Witt and Associates, Inc. (GMW&A), a consulting firm dedicated to hydrogeologic enterprises. GMW&A designs and supervises the installation, repair, and rehabilitation of both freshwater and saltwater supply wells, injection wells for disposal of concentrate from membrane systems, groundwater remediation, wastewater, storm water, oilfield, and golf course applications. Mr. Witt has over 20 years experience with all types of water supply and injection well applications in the United States, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. He lives in Boynton Beach, Florida.
