About the Authors

Scott Eberhardt is an associate professor in the department of aeronautics and astronautics at the University of Washington. He is also the director of the Kirsten Wind Tunnel and a private pilot.

David Anderson is a lifelong pilot. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Columbia University.

Scott Eberhardt works in high-lift aerodynamics with Product Development, at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
