Michelle is an Oracle ACE Director and the DBA Team Lead at DRW Holdings in Chicago, with several years experience in database development, design and administration. She has expertise in security, performance tuning, data modeling and database architecture of very large database environments. When she is not applying CPU patches or securing her own company's databases, she writes articles and gives presentations on security and compliance topics as well as other database administrative areas such as RAC, ASM and recovery. She is also a contributing author for multiple books including the IOUG Best Practices Tip Booklet. She has been very involved in the IOUG, and is currently serving as president on the Board of Directors.

Michael S. Abbey (Ottawa, CN) has been using Oracle for 15 years, has co-authored seven books for Oracle Press, and has given presentations on Oracle throughout North America and Europe. Michael leads the Pythian Group’s dbaSource team in Ottawa, Canada, which provides Internet-based Oracle DBA support. He has also been a volunteer in Oracle user groups, facilitating delivery of IOUG–A’s IOUG-A Live! from 1997 to 2000.

Ian Abramson (@iabramson) lives in Toronto, Canada, where he works for EPAM Systems as the Canadian Director of Enterprise Data, a global leader in softwareengineering. Ian is a graduate in Mathematics from Concordia University in Montreal. His involvement with implementing solutions using Oracle technology and data warehouses reaches back over 25 years, as a developer of creative and innovative solutions for clients around the globe. He is the past president of the IOUG (Independent Oracle Users Group) and continues to share his knowledge through his lively presentations and published technical articles and blog. In his spare time, Ian spends his freetime golfing in the summer and playing hockey in the winter.

Michael S. Abbey (@MichaelAbbeyCAN) has done nothing but Oracle since V3 in 1986. He has been a frequent presenter at tech shows on four continents since the early 1990s and started writing for Oracle Press in 1994. He is a well-known tech in the Oracle space and has a voracious appetite for the CORE Oracle technology. Michael has been actively involved in the user group programs for over two decades and is an Oracle ACE.

Michelle Malcher (@malcherm) is the current president of the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG). She is an Oracle ACE Director with more than 15 years' experience in database development, security, design, and administration. Michelle is based in Chicago, USA, where she leads a team of database developers and administrators. She has contributed articles to the IOUG Select Journal, has written the Oracle Database Administration for Microsoft SQL Server DBAs,and has contributed to other Oracle Press books. She enjoyspresenting and sharing ideas about Oracle database topics at conferences and user group meetings.

Michael Corey (@Michael_Corey) is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ntirety. Michael is a frequent speaker at technology and business conferences throughout the world, from Australia to Brazil. Michael is a VMware vExpert and Oracle ACE, and is on the Talkin’ Cloud 200 Computing Executives and Experts List.Michael is a past president of the Independent Oracle UsersGroup; he helped found the Professional Association of SQLServer, is a current board member of the IOUG Virtualization SIG, and is actively involved in numerous professional associations and industry user groups.

Michael Corey is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ntirety L.L.C. (www.ntirety.com) located in Newton, Massachusetts, Ntirety specializes in Remote Database Administration. Prior to founding Ntirety Mike co-founded Database Technologies, the first consulting company on the East Coast to specialize in Oracle and other relational databases. Mr. Corey is a recognized expert on Relational Databases and Data Warehousing.  He has written a number of articles and books. Mike is a frequent guest speaker at technology conferences throughout the world.

In addition to being an entrepreneur and writer, Mr. Corey is a founding member of a number of Oracle groups, including Oracle User Resource, Oracle World Wide Affinity Program and the Oracle Presidents’ Council.  He is a past president of the International Oracle User Group, Northeast Oracle Users Group,.  He is also a past member of the Board of Directors for the International Oracle User Group – Americas and a member of the Microsoft Corporation Data Warehousing Advisory Group.

Mr. Corey has a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Bentley College, in Waltham, Massachusetts.  He has also attended the Entrepreneurial Management program at Babson College in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998.
