About the Author:
Amit Tevar, MD is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Transplantation at the University of Cincinnati. He also is the director of Surgical Student Education, the Transplant Surgery Fellowship Program, and the Pancreas Transplant Program. Dr. Tevar graduated with his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University's Medical School and finished his solid organ transplant fellowship at the University of Chicago. He came to the University of Cincinnati in 2004 as a Transplant Fellow.
